In 1990, fifteen-year-old Sandrine experienced violent abdominal pain worse than childbirth contractions. She observed neighbors walking and heard them, experiencing heightened awareness and a 360-degree field of vision. When she looked up at the pearl grey sky, she felt she could leave and mount up into it, which caused her to panic. The most remarkable observations occurred when she saw specific details later confirmed. She observed her friend standing by the window smoking a cigarette, which he later confirmed, stating he hadn't heard her fall because he was smoking while watching the neighbor's servant arriving. She also clearly saw herself from outside her body, hopping over her own physical form in the corridor. Her vision seemed to be at 360 degrees, seeing everywhere at once, with sounds being clearer and more isolated from each other. When her friend discovered her body and began shaking it, her bodiless self dove back into her physical form and the pain returned immediately. She was taken to the hospital where she didn't initially share her experience. Years later, when she discussed it with her friend, he confirmed the specific detail about smoking at the window while watching the neighbor's servant arrive.
