Rhea fell approximately 70 feet from a cruise ship staircase, suffering severe trauma with bones protruding from her leg and massive blood loss. After the impact, she found herself looking down at her severely injured body while experiencing six bright figures standing before her. These peaceful, swaying beings appeared as brilliant lights that didn't touch the ground, which initially frightened her. She then found herself at the ceiling looking down at her body below, feeling like she was on a fast roller coaster before suddenly returning to normal on a stretcher being rushed to medical care. Her boyfriend, expecting to find her dead from the fall, was shocked to see her sitting up and alert. The experience transformed her from having no spiritual beliefs to knowing with certainty that there is life after death and divine protection.
