In 1972, Maria (Denise) was run over twice by her own car after attempting to start it. She suffered a crushed spleen (removed in surgery), broken ribs, severe blood loss, and was dragged by the vehicle. In the emergency room, she suddenly lost hearing while staff worked on her, then found herself zooming down the center of a huge tunnel with spiral walls lit from within. She encountered a large white glowing energy being who knew her personally, calling her by name "Denise, it is not your time, you will have to go back." She saw a pedestal with an ancient "Book of Answers" but was told she could not look at it and return. She was sent back through the tunnel to her body.
