While waiting to board a plane home, Loni experienced complications from undiagnosed Lyme Disease that had attacked her heart. She began feeling light-headed and shaky, then experienced an intense coldness spreading from her extremities toward her heart. She knew if the cold reached her heart, she would die. Suddenly she was pulled into a dark space and traveled at incredible speed across vast distances, like crossing the universe in seconds. She found herself in a lukewarm, velvety black space with millions of distant lights like stars. Then she saw an enormous golden-orange ribbon of light approaching - the fringe of a Holy robe made of fire. The fire hit her, piercing through every atom with agony and cleansing, nearly breaking her apart. God showed her golden threads interwoven throughout the universe - humanity woven together as part of God's tapestry, with empty spaces we fill with light or darkness through free will. She received a personal message about not being cowardly about expressing love. Then she was suddenly back in her body. The experience profoundly changed her understanding of God, humanity's interconnection, and the purpose of life being about love and learning.
