Lars has a heart condition causing racing episodes since 1984. When his heart returns to normal, it apparently stops temporarily. During one severe episode, he experienced floating and could see himself from outside. He felt a presence take him by the hand and lead him to a tunnel he'd never experienced before. The tunnel had jagged zigzag segments in multiple layers with intensive light. The experience was horrible and painful with indescribable torment.
He felt stuck yet stretched, experiencing soul feelings rather than physical ones. Exiting the tunnel, he entered darkness with white dots moving toward him at high speed. He realized if he continued, he would be stuck there, then woke on the floor. Since then, he developed new psychic abilities including seeing plants, trees, and clouds psychically with supernatural beauty. He can sometimes see 3-5 weeks into the future and has had three similar experiences since.
