Joseph S experienced two significant spiritual events. In 1984, after heavy marijuana use leading to unconsciousness, he found himself in a dark realm observing an extremely bright light he knew to be God, the Source, and Creator. Universal knowledge was downloaded to him about life's purpose - to love, learn, create and grow. He watched souls as orbs of light moving in constant streams, some separating from the Light to inhabit human bodies at birth, others leaving bodies at death to return to the Light. He understood humans exist as part of the Light before earthly birth. Upon returning, he retained only fragments of this vast knowledge, like trying to recall a year-old movie. In 1990, while his 90-year-old grandmother was dying in the hospital, Joseph was awakened at 6:50 AM by being engulfed in incredibly bright light he again recognized as God. He saw his grandmother's face, appearing about 30 years old and glowing with joy as she stared into the light's core. Joseph felt indescribable love, peace and security, like being "swaddled in an eternal security blanket." No fear or negative thoughts could exist there. As the light dissipated and he woke fully, he realized his grandmother had passed, though he knew she was more alive than ever. His parents later confirmed she died at "about ten to seven" - exactly when Joseph experienced the shared death vision.
