Jeff experienced a near-death experience as a 5-year-old child when he fell into a residential pool with a weak cover that trapped him underwater. Unable to swim, he sank below the surface and lost consciousness after accepting his fate. During the experience, he found himself in a mystical fog-like place with intense happiness and immediately recognized Jesus wearing a white Roman-like cloak with a red sash and long brown curly hair. Jesus communicated telepathically that it was not his time to die and that his parents must be worried. Jeff expressed willingness to die for Jesus, which was acknowledged as an honor, but he understood he had to return. He was then pulled from the water by his family after being unconscious underwater.
