While at a beach restaurant in Sète, France with family, Jeannine felt unwell crossing the dining room. She went outside and fainted, experiencing herself leaving her body through the top of her head with some difficulty, then feeling free. She thought "I'm dead, I'm going to be buried here in Sète" (mentioning local poets). She observed the cement paving stones, sea, and sand as wonderful. She was suddenly projected toward an invisible being of light who asked telepathically if she accepted her death. She defended herself, saying her mother and son still needed her, and objected to dying in Sète due to racism. The being smiled mockingly but agreed, making a promise she didn't understand. She fell back into her body to find anxious family. Later she regretted refusing death, as life became very difficult with media persecution in France. Since then, she experiences God's presence daily, receives answers to questions, and feels unconditional love from God and Mary. She has become a mystic, gaining abilities as a medium where the dead appear to her for communication.
