At age six, George ran across an icy street, slipped, and fell. She was either hit or dragged by a car driving down the hill. The impact was severe enough that paramedics initially assessed her as deceased. During this critical event, George experienced floating above her body, observing the paramedics working on her from an elevated perspective. She witnessed them cutting her out of her coat and saw the panic in their response. Her consciousness then departed to what she describes as 'heaven' or another realm where a being told her, 'It's not your time yet, you have to go back and do something important.' She saw a tunnel with a combination of faint lights and darkness, encountered a mystical being at the end of the tunnel, and felt incredible peace and joy. The being appeared to be of a feminine nature, possibly a guardian angel. George reluctantly returned to her body while in the ambulance, experiencing severe whole-body pain. Despite the paramedic declaring her dead after examining her with a flashlight, she spontaneously spoke when hearing this declaration, prompting her fiancé to alert the medical team she was alive. The only medical injury sustained was a fractured right thumb.
