Connie, 42 years old and pregnant with a baby with Down syndrome, underwent an emergency Cesarean section when the baby's heart began struggling. The experience left her with knowledge that she has friends "somewhere else" who know about her and came to talk to her that day, providing comfort during her isolated and difficult life with a distant husband.
