Kate, 18 weeks pregnant and suffering severe asthma following her father's death, experienced respiratory failure requiring emergency intervention. After calling 911, she felt overwhelming calm and urged her mother to tell her children and husband she loved them. She stopped breathing for six minutes. During clinical death, she felt incredible love surrounding her and traveled through a dark tunnel at incredible speed, sensing all the people and experiences from her life. At the tunnel's end was pure white light where she sensed her recently deceased father's presence and love. Through thought communication, he told her it wasn't her time, that her three children and unborn baby needed their mother. She traveled back at incredible speed with a whirring noise, seeing herself in the ICU with her mother and husband crying beside her, watching medical staff preparing to intubate. With a "whoosh" she returned to her body at 2:30 AM after 2.5 hours unconscious. Her first words were "I've seen the Light!" which amazed everyone given how close to death she had been.
