At a relative's house, Caren accepted a drink and immediately felt dizzy, going outside before blacking out after closing the door. She found herself in a dark sky-like place unable to move or speak, standing between two hooded robed figures she sensed were Jesus and Satan fighting over her fate. Communication was telepathic and direct. A large circle appeared with unknown purpose. She felt sheer terror and extreme determination to stay. Her friend later found her at the end of the driveway by the road after initially discovering her on the uncle's cactus by the front door. The friend said "I thought you were gone." Caren cannot remember why she felt such terror or how she got to the driveway. The experience was entirely distressing with two beings in conflict over her soul's destination, though she was ultimately returned to life.
