At age 9, Brent was influenced by a friend to take over 40 pills at once. As his stomach cramped and body warmed, he felt himself dying and shutting down. Suddenly he was in an endless open space knowing everything, with extremely heightened senses. His grandfather who died two years prior approached - younger, healthy, with perfect skin - placing his hand on Brent's shoulder saying "Grandson, it's not time to come home yet" before hugging him. Brent noticed and touched a tangible cloud-like substance he recognized as God's presence. A bright, powerful light approached with thunderous footsteps. Unable to stand from its power, Brent fell prostrate until a voice said "Open your eyes." He saw feet with holes, then nail prints in the wrists (not palms) as the figure helped him stand. The being wore a white robe whiter than earthly white, had white wool-like hair and blue eyes with flames of love. Jesus told him twice "My son, it's not time to come home yet. I have much work for you to do." Brent was pulled back into his body, waking to medical staff screaming "He's alive!" His mother later cried when he said he'd seen Grandpa and Jesus, as she'd prayed for proof her father was in heaven.
