Kathryn experienced sudden cardiac arrest on her front lawn with no pain, simply falling over dead. During the event, she had an out-of-body experience where she observed her body on the gurney and noticed a small sign inside the ambulance showing load capacity. Humorously noting her plump size, she thought about whether they'd both fit. Upon stepping into the ambulance, she encountered her recently deceased father (died in May) who asked "What are you doing here?" through telepathic communication. He told her she had to go back for her grandkids, with her mother sitting beside him in agreement. She then floated over her body watching medical staff work frantically, feeling peaceful and wondering why they were so upset. She experienced an indescribable light emanating from within her parents and overwhelming feelings of peace. She regained consciousness in the ICU on a respirator with family present, frustrated she couldn't communicate that she would be okay.
