Ricardo was riding his motorcycle on a main road in Mexico City when his rear brake failed, causing a collision with a van. Upon impact, he lost consciousness and experienced a life review consisting of still images of loved ones, friends, and acquaintances appearing like photographs. He felt desperation, oppression, and suffocation while witnessing these scenes. When he regained consciousness, he heard a woman's voice telling him to call his family. Initially, he had complete amnesia - not knowing who he was, where he was, or where he had been going. He could only remember one name, which he called. It took approximately 6 hours to fully recover his memory. Witnesses reported that during his unconscious period, his eyes were open but he appeared dead and had stopped breathing. The impact was severe enough to split his helmet in two, and a CT scan revealed cerebral inflammation but no serious damage. Ricardo interpreted this experience as divine intervention, believing God allowed him to continue living for a greater purpose.
