On July 7, 1994, Joseph J was unloading steel coils from a semi-truck when a coil rolled forward and crushed him against forklift forks. He was declared dead on arrival. During his NDE, he saw himself doing the "post-mortem kick" from outside his body. An angel holding his hand told him "You're not done here!" and took him to a place of Light and Sound with feelings of love like being in his mother's arms. He felt safe and wanted to stay. In this realm, he encountered hundreds of thousands of smaller lights and one very bright light. He met a deceased friend, Lee R., who said it was good to see him. The angel insisted he return, saying "You're not done here, you have to go back!" Joseph saw the paramedics using defibrillator pads on him, then experienced pain, fear, and inability to breathe before going into shock. After 8 hours of emergency treatment, he survived and later became a Reverend of The Church of Light Works.
