She entered a dark, greasy tunnel that was pitch-black, feeling herself floating as her abdominal pain diminished. The bright light transformed into a figure in a white robe of average height, neither male nor female, who smiled warmly at her. When she asked if the figure was God or Jesus, she received the response "Evelyn, not yet...go back." She was suctioned back through the tunnel as pain returned, finding herself above the operating table watching nurses performing chest compressions on her body.
