Kate attempted suicide by cutting her arm deeply, losing significant blood. As she was losing consciousness, she felt energy being pulled from her face and chest. She found herself in a beautiful courtroom resembling a coliseum with alabaster and marble furnishings. A luminous Judge presided, and a sinister Prosecutor was present. She experienced an extensive life review in a judicial setting, being shown traumatic childhood abuse from God's perspective. She saw how God had been present during her worst moments of molestation at age four, sharing her pain and giving her strength. The experience revealed that anger and unforgiveness are spiritually equivalent to murder. Multiple scenes from her life were examined, showing how her pain had led to harming others. She witnessed God's perspective on suffering and free will. Jesus appeared, showing her that her suicide attempt was being covered by grace. She was told to return and given the insight that love and forgiveness are central to existence. Upon returning, she found her suicide note covered in red ink that had exploded, symbolically representing being covered by Christ's blood. The experience profoundly changed her beliefs about God, Jesus, heaven, hell, and the purpose of life.
