Sue was eighteen years old and sleeping in France when she experienced a shared near-death experience while her father was having a massive heart attack in the United States. She came out of her body and could see family members crying around her bed. She was then sucked into a noisy tunnel and shot out into a golden light that she describes as the universal One of LOVE. The golden glowing love was so intense that she felt her heart exploding into millions of particles, melting into this universal consciousness.
During the experience, Sue heard her father's voice speaking to her loudly, telling her she had to go back because her mission wasn't over yet. This communication occurred while her father was in the intensive care unit having a massive heart attack, though Sue was unaware of his medical crisis at the time. She fell back into her body with great sadness, her soul feeling totally sad about having to return. She got up from bed wondering if she was going to die. The veridical aspect of this experience is remarkable: Sue experienced this NDE-like event while sleeping in France at the exact time her father was having a heart attack in the United States. She had no knowledge of his medical emergency until the next morning when she learned he was in intensive care. Her father confirmed speaking to her during his crisis, somehow enabling her to have an NDE experience without going through death herself. After returning to her body, Sue experienced profound sadness and depression at being separated from the source of intense love. The experience eliminated her previous suicidal tendencies as she realized death timing was not under her control.
