Stephanie C experienced an NDE three days after cesarean section childbirth when massive hemorrhaging occurred upon standing for the first time. She stood up and blood poured out "like someone dumping a huge never-ending bucket," with her last earthly memory being her comment to her husband about the amount of blood. She then found herself running through a beautiful field in a white gown, picking flowers, laughing with joy. The setting featured yellow and white oversized posy-like flowers everywhere, with a waterfall down the path flanked by stone. She experienced overwhelming happiness, love, and never wanted to leave. After passing out for ten minutes with blood pressure crash and cardiac arrest lasting twenty seconds, medical staff resuscitated her with smelling salts. Upon return, she felt intense anger at being brought back, wanting to remain in the meadow rather than in her pain-filled body. The experience included incredibly vivid senses, time distortion, awareness verified by medical facts, mystical light, and profound emotions of peace and joy. She gained understanding about the universe and experienced precognitive visions. Biblical assessment: This experience strongly aligns with biblical imagery of paradise and divine peace.
