On October 7, 1999, Randy experienced an unexplained seizure during sleep while in alcohol treatment in Madison, Wisconsin. From above, he observed two paramedics working on his body and three friends watching, feeling complete detachment from his physical form. Moving through a wall where he saw a black rectangular stud, he entered a new dimension controlled by an overwhelming divine presence he recognized as God. Existing as bodiless consciousness, he felt God's unconditional love and freedom from earthly pain and time. God gave him a glimpse of the horrible fate awaiting those who reject Him. Approaching divine light, God asked telepathically "Is there anything worthy of ME to go back for?" Randy answered "My Nancy," the woman he loved with pure love like God's. He then returned to his body. Later recognizing the paramedics' backs confirmed his out-of-body observations. Years later, a brilliant divine light appeared in his backyard, completing his spiritual transformation.
