On June 20, 1993, Michael had a severe car accident. He saw three figures silhouetted in blue light with no faces, only human shapes. The middle figure said "It's not your time yet." He observed himself being extracted from his car, then woke in a helicopter. The experience was entirely pleasant with incredible peace and joy. He entered a mystical realm with unearthly light. He felt no longer in conflict with nature and gained knowledge that his purpose was to "Love one another." His religious life went from slightly to greatly important, though he believes in "something just maybe not the Bible as written." His values changed to focus on love, he lost fear of living, and became greatly compassionate. He went from greatly fearful to not fearful in living. BIBLICAL: Three figures could be Trinity or angels. Central message "Love one another" is directly from Jesus (John 13:34). Transformation shows fruit of the Spirit. However, skepticism toward biblical authority ("not the Bible as written") raises concern.
