In 1986, Matthieu had a nighttime cardiac event around 2 AM while trying to use the bathroom. Unable to stand, he lost consciousness and saw himself on the bed with his wife shaking him trying to revive him. He floated in white light unknown on Earth, with the light intensifying and drawing him toward what seemed a tunnel. He felt wonderfully relaxed and well, not wanting to return. Hearing his wife's cries brought him back, feeling extremely tired with nausea. The experience lasted 5-10 minutes. Next day, a cardiologist found his heart at only 32 beats per minute ten hours later. He perceived the room through white light without walls, heard muffled sounds, and felt perfect peace. The experience eliminated his fear of death, seeing it as passage to better life. This helped when his son died from cancer five years later - while grieving deeply, he was convinced his son went to a better world. BIBLICAL: Pure biblical experience - divine white light, out-of-body observation, profound peace in God's presence. Experience bore excellent fruit: eliminated death fear and provided comfort during son's death. No problematic elements.
