Thirteen-year-old Mateo was playing football when the ball went into the road. Running after it, he saw a car about to hit him. Just before impact, he saw a boy in normal clothes who smiled at him - no one else saw this figure. Everything went black and he felt trapped in his body. He saw a small light in the distance and followed it as it grew brighter. Something communicated it wasn't his time and he had to return. Despite feeling happy and wanting to stay, he was sent back. He awoke on the ground without serious injury. When he asked about the smiling boy, everyone said no one was there. He was unconscious for 20 seconds but felt it lasted over 30 minutes. He experienced a dark tunnel with voices, brilliant light, incredible happiness, love, peace, and no pain. Since then he sometimes sees strange lights around people. The experience taught him not to fear death and to love his neighbor. He remains curious about the mysterious boy's identity. BIBLICAL: The mysterious boy could be an angel appearing before the accident for protection. The progression from darkness to light parallels biblical imagery. Being told it wasn't his time reflects God's sovereignty. The transformation to love others aligns with Christ's teachings.
