In April 1975, Mary had an intravenous pyelogram for post-partum sepsis. Upon receiving IV medication, she experienced severe nausea, sweating, and intense chest pressure. A doctor asked about shellfish allergies (her father and sister were allergic). As pressure intensified, she felt herself falling backwards and found herself in a field with grass and a winding creek. She followed a tall male figure past three women in blue veils kneeling by the stream who bowed as they passed. Moving through woods with indescribably gorgeous 3D flowers, her entire life was presented simultaneously on a screen. She received the impression she hadn't utilized all her talents. They reached a path's end with brilliant white light containing what appeared to be a city. She knew crossing meant no return. She explained she had a new baby and 19-month-old son who needed her. The being turned toward her and she felt allowed to return for others' sake. She awoke with defibrillator burns on her chest. She became an ICU/trauma nurse, then hospice nurse, and now teaches critical care and end-of-life courses with her Masters in Nursing Education. She experiences enhanced predictive abilities. BIBLICAL: Experience compatible with biblical accounts - tall figure possibly angel/Christ, life review parallels parable of talents, city in light suggests New Jerusalem.
