Freida attempted suicide by hanging from an oak tree after her boyfriend broke up with her. Her ex-boyfriend caught her mid-air and saved her, but the rope still tightened. She experienced a brown and white movie-like vision showing herself hanging dead. She felt intense rushes of every possible emotion and sensation in milliseconds - sadness, joy, ecstasy, bliss, love, anger, stillness, and energetic vibrations. She saw life scenes flash by rapidly. To her right appeared a rainbow door/window she recognized from years of avoiding it. She had previously danced around it, putting one foot in and out mockingly. Through it she could see two paths, knowing the left path was meant for her. After revival, her ex-boyfriend initially thought she was faking, then became angry and choked her, inadvertently causing another near-death experience. A later reiki session helped her understand the experience.
