Lori K, a 51-year-old X-ray technician and puppeteer, was struck by a Toyota Tundra truck after an SUV ran a stop sign. She watched her left ankle completely turn around with bones snapping, knowing it would require amputation. When bystanders lifted the truck, she pulled her right foot free but felt her entire pelvis come apart and knew she was bleeding out. Despite severe injuries, she managed to call her 15-year-old daughter Hannah and husband to say goodbye. She asked police to care for her daughter and puppet.
During the ambulance ride, Lori left her body, seeing it as sad and worn like old jeans, though feeling sentimental about discarding it. The experience felt more real than anything before. She could see the paramedics, driver, and daughter from above, while simultaneously feeling the emotions of her husband and children 100 miles away. She felt bad for causing their distress but was aware of everything happening on Earth. She flew fast into pure Love and Warmth that created Light, emanating from Jesus like stepping from darkness into sunlight. This Light made her ALL KNOWING with vast understanding that continues unfolding. Her life played before her, pausing at medical incidents: rheumatic fever, six childbirths with an OBE during one, kidney stones, her son's accident with broken legs and cranial bleed, another son's football injury, and her father-in-law's amputation. These seemed to prepare her for this day. In Jesus's presence, she saw deceased relatives including her father-in-law, Grandpa Antonio, and aunts, all recognized by spirit rather than body, waiting behind an archway boundary. When Jesus asked if she was ready, she said it was a beautiful day to die with no unfinished business. But she wanted to see Hannah grow up, meet future grandchildren, and continue her X-ray work and puppet shows. Jesus said she could return, had work to do, and would restore everything if she stayed awake. Returning felt like going down a slide back to her broken body. She became aware of the Devil's anger at her lack of fear of death. She had double C-2 fracture with cranial bleed, five fractured lumbar vertebrae, pulverized pelvis, burst bladder, and multiple leg fractures. She stayed in the ER for 17 hours before surgery due to critical potassium levels. Jesus sent people to lay hands on her, some she recognized from her heavenly vision. She learned to put on God's armor daily to defeat the Devil. The experience continues with ongoing miraculous events. Biblical Assessment: This experience strongly aligns with biblical Christianity, featuring a direct encounter with Jesus, recognition of spiritual warfare with the Devil, and ongoing faith practices. The life review of medical challenges as preparation reflects Romans 8:28. The emphasis on Jesus's healing power and putting on God's armor (Ephesians 6) demonstrates solid biblical understanding. The experience strengthened rather than replaced traditional Christian faith.
