On November 25, 2009, Kristy was a passenger in a head-on collision while talking to her mother on the phone. After feeling still for a minute, she saw a long dark tunnel with a light at the end and walked through it. She observed her body in the car and felt her sister tugging her hair saying "Kristy, don't leave me. I need you." This prompted her return. From the out-of-body state, her eyes felt "different" - notable as she had been legally blind since birth. The experience felt like hours but lasted only minutes. Through the tunnel, she encountered deceased beings in front of a gate who gave her a choice. She saw a beautiful sunny, warm island landscape. Her past flashed before her uncontrolled, and she gained special knowledge about the universe. She experienced incredible peace, joy, and unity with the world. After returning, she was diagnosed with mild concussion and broken collarbone. Since the experience, she has developed abilities to see ghosts, assist them with crossing over, and do psychic readings. She feels she returned for a purpose and now helps others, giving messages from the other side that bring them peace.
