Gregory experienced a diabetic insulin reaction while sleeping in October 1993. He had experienced several similar reactions before, typically waking with severe headaches and requiring hours to recover. This particular incident was different - he felt no headache or long recovery afterward. During the reaction, Gregory felt surrounded by great warmth and then experienced a burst of pure white light with no darkness in it. He was sucked into a tunnel toward a brighter light and propelled to an indescribable place. Despite being red/green colorblind and visually impaired, he saw a green field of grass leading to a magnificent city on a slight incline. The city had walls so high he could barely see sky above them, with three gates visible and perfect spacing between them. He could see through the transparent walls, noting twelve distinct colors in the foundation made of pure stone like glass. Inside were streets of solid gold and various beings. A celestial presence approached from behind, touched his shoulder, and told him he must return as his work was not done on earth. The voice gave him specific directions about a future task related to preparing for the end times, though he cannot reveal details. Gregory immediately accepted the directive to return without disappointment or resentment. After returning to his body, he awoke from the insulin reaction with no aftereffects.
