Knowing she did want to return, she suddenly found herself above her body again in a hospital hallway, watching as a doctor told her they would save her while pushing her gurney into an operating room. Her next memory was waking up in recovery. The experience transformed her from atheist to believer in a "Guiding Organizing Designing process," though she remains uncertain whether this is an entity or universal energy. She gained immediate understanding that "all was one and one was all" during the experience.
