In November 2003, Debbie experienced seven cardiac arrests within a nine-hour period, with two distinct NDEs. During her first experience, she saw her husband standing at a distance and felt herself falling while trying to yell "No!" though no sound emerged. She was met by her mother who had died two years earlier, and saw other deceased family members from a distance. Her mother led her down a long sandy path toward a clearing when a sound from behind stopped her. She was told it wasn't her time yet, that she and her husband had much to do, and many people would be counting on them. During her seventh cardiac arrest, she had an out-of-body experience where she traveled to her home and touched each of her sleeping sons on the cheek. When she went to kiss her husband, the phone rang at 5:02 AM, and she suddenly returned to her hospital room where doctors were inserting a temporary pacemaker. Despite being in critical condition and not expected to survive, she recovered. She has experienced prophetic visions including Middle East conflicts and believes the tribulation began in 2010 and that she and her husband are meant to lead young people to safety during coming chaos.
From a biblical perspective, this experience contains both supportive and concerning elements. The encounters with deceased relatives and being told about divine timing align with biblical concepts. The sense of purpose and mission to help others reflects biblical calling. However, the specific prophetic claims about leading people during tribulation and having special knowledge about end times events require careful discernment, as Jesus warned that no one knows the day or hour. The experience with the Norway spiral and calling it "HOME" introduces unusual elements not found in scripture.
