Christal experienced a near-death event in 2010 due to a severe, untreated kidney infection. She was bedridden, shaking uncontrollably under ten blankets with an extremely high fever. Her 13-year-old daughter was present when Christal lost consciousness and stopped breathing, prompting the daughter to call her father who rushed home from work.
During her unconscious state, Christal found herself in a gray, foggy environment before entering what she described as a vertical tunnel or well. She then heard multiple voices before being pulled back into her body. Christal was revived by her husband shaking her while her daughter sobbed, reporting she hadn't been breathing. They immediately took her for medical treatment.
