Agnes experienced complications during the end-stage of labor, though she remained relaxed and confident. She suffered clinical death requiring defibrillation and multiple blood transfusions. When she separated from her body, she experienced a floating sensation accompanied by intense feelings of blessedness and wellbeing. She found herself floating in luminous, soft surroundings, rising toward an even more intense luminosity.
