After witnessing a frightening injury, Winnie ran for help and upon returning experienced light-headedness, racing heart, and ringing ears. She lost consciousness for 3-5 minutes with eyes fixated, no breathing, and loss of bodily functions. Her husband, an orthodontist, thought she was dead and attempted revival.
She experienced darkness then proceeded to indescribably bright light in a pastoral setting with brilliant colors. Bright, familiar beings approached and welcomed her.
