Trevor, a soldier, experienced an IED bomb blast on June 29, 2007, suffering damage to his upper and lower left extremities, including brachial and femoral vein/artery damage. He reports that bleeding out from such injuries occurs within seconds. During his experience, he found himself above the Humvee in darkness before being transported to another realm. He was surrounded by a ring of fire with dark figures around it, unable to see his body. He witnessed millions of other rings of fire containing souls and saw his driver, a Private who died in the blast, being dragged away by dark figures. The environment was filled with crying, moaning, screams of torture, and pure suffering under red skies. When Trevor called on Jesus Christ to save him, a hole opened in the red sky revealing blue sky beyond, and he was immediately returned to his body in the destroyed Humvee.
