In September 1973, Teri experienced a severe car accident in a rural area, going into a ditch with her body crumpled under the steering wheel. She suffered head and neck injuries and was hospitalized for a week, with amnesia from that period except for the NDE memory. She was given a choice to stay or return, feeling it was truly life-threatening.
During the experience, Teri felt pulled into a vacuum-like tunnel with lights flying by as she traveled. She emerged into an indescribable place of peace and tranquility, encountering a Being of White Light who loved her unconditionally. The being appeared as an older man with long gray hair and beard, though she understood his true essence was Light and Love. Being in his presence felt like being "home" in a way she had never known. She saw how important it is to project love rather than negative energy, and how others either benefit or are negatively affected by one's energy. She understood that heaven isn't a place you're admitted to but a frequency you attain. She begged to return to raise her consciousness and become more loving. The Being granted her request, though she found the return difficult. The experience became the catalyst for 30 years of dedicated spiritual work. Through trial and error and scientific study, she developed the ability to feel unconditional love for everyone regardless of their actions.
