In January 2006, Teresa admitted herself to St. Joseph Hospital in Marshfield, Wisconsin for medical help withdrawing from Vicodin. She had been in a terrible situation with an extremely evil man for five years, doing things that made her feel dead inside. Prior to her NDE, she had been crying out to God for help and direction. As the doctor prepared to inject medication for withdrawal, she felt rectangular pain across her chest, said "I can't breathe out," and died from a pulmonary embolism.

Suddenly, Teresa was surrounded by pure, brilliant heaven white - a color beyond earthly description. She found herself in a cell made of brown metal, wearing a tan "potato bag" as clothing, with thick brown leather bands around her neck, waist, wrists, and ankles. Love surrounded her - more than anyone could feel on earth. One by one, the bands fell off and the cell door opened. She walked out and fell to her knees, knowing she was in the presence of Jesus.

They communicated telepathically as she cried and asked about the abuse, trauma, and countless terrible things that had happened since childhood. Jesus answered every single question, giving her knowledge and peace about everything, though He didn't allow her to return with all the revealed knowledge. He sent her back with complete peace in her spirit, freed from all bondages. She eventually awoke with scabs under her nose from oxygen, with a nurse surprised she woke up.

Teresa believes God knew she was on a one-way ticket to hell and answered her prayers because of His immense love. She has been completely set free from her past, experiencing supernatural healing and transformation.

--- Biblical Summary ---
Biblical elements: The direct encounter with Jesus Christ, telepathic spiritual communication, brilliant heavenly light, complete transformation and freedom from bondage, answered prayers, and supernatural peace all strongly align with biblical Christianity. The imagery of bonds falling off reflects biblical themes of Christ setting captives free. Her pre-NDE prayers being answered demonstrates God's response to sincere seekers.

Unbiblical elements: None identified. This experience is thoroughly Christian in nature, featuring a direct encounter with Jesus, spiritual deliverance from bondage, answered prayer, and complete transformation through divine love. All elements align with conservative evangelical theology about salvation, deliverance, and the transforming power of Christ.
