Susan, a nurse, experienced an NDE in 1955 following a ruptured ectopic pregnancy that caused massive internal hemorrhaging. After sudden abdominal pain at home, she was taken to the base hospital where she was pronounced dead with no heartbeat or blood pressure. From above, she observed her lifeless body and heard doctors discussing what to tell her husband in England. She entered an all-encompassing heavenly light with beautiful music and overwhelming peace, encountering Jesus telepathically who told her to return to her children and complete earthly work.
Her heart spontaneously restarted, and she underwent emergency surgery. During recovery, she experienced a second divine visitation where Jesus appeared visually from shoulders up in brilliant light, speaking telepathically about her future mission and telling her not to fear death. Hospital staff visited frequently, amazed that she had been pronounced dead yet lived. She accurately described conversations that occurred while clinically dead.
