Approximately twenty years ago at age seventeen, the subject became very sick with an undiagnosed condition despite extensive medical tests. Her father, a doctor, told her mother she would not be coming back home from the hospital, indicating the severity of her condition.
After asking to be alone, she experienced an out-of-body state described as having no boundaries or fear. She was in a coma for five days.
