Suzanne was violently assaulted and strangled in a parking lot, suffering severe injuries with blood coming from her mouth, nose, ears, eyes, and head. She experienced a tunnel of light with her deceased grandmother at the other end. Her grandmother, who had passed in 1976, was at the tunnel's end and communicated by shaking her head when Suzanne reached up to her, indicating she couldn't come through. The tunnel then closed at her grandmother's end and went black.
