Five-year-old Renee was playing at a lake in Georgia when she went into deep water and began drowning. She found herself looking down at a little girl at the bottom of the water, not realizing it was herself. She was pulled backwards out of the water and felt like she was one with the world, just energy or air. She could see the boat and water getting smaller as she rose higher, feeling an incredible sense of union and belonging. The experience gave her a sense of lightness and connection to the universe.
