Matthew B experienced an NDE in fall 2006 during a seizure-like episode at a friend's kitchen table. After feeling lightheaded, his head slammed down, his body stiffened, arms locked, eyes rolled back, and he couldn't speak despite trying. He immediately entered the blackest darkness like space, feeling weightless and bodiless, experiencing pure ecstasy. A pinprick of light appeared and expanded until overwhelming. He then saw four hooded beings standing shoulder to shoulder under waterfall-like colored light (yellows, oranges, whites, red), with a fifth pacing behind them. He heard "HE'S NOT READY" in a loud yet whispered voice when he protested wanting to stay. He was shown his entire life in detail, experiencing satisfaction, shame, and repentance. Colorful spheres incorporated into his essence, which a voice identified as "knowledge accumulated in previous lives." The beings communicated about his life being at a crossroads, needing to change direction quickly toward a military path. He returned feeling kicked by electricity to his chest. After the experience, he developed new insights about Earth's magnetism, flood prophecies related to Noah's Ark, and a strong belief that physical life is a test of goodness. He now sees dark hooded figures that previously scared him differently, questions world religions while believing strongly in the afterlife, and cannot wait to "carry over."
