Julian, who had wanted to die due to despair, was killed in a car crash as a passenger when hit by drunk drivers. He recalls nothing of passing through the veil but has vivid memories of arriving at a transfer station between realms - a domain with crystal structures and verdant green trees. He entered an enormous, incomprehensible dome-like structure where beings of light, energy, and color conducted his life review, filling him with awe and wonder.
During the life review, Julian understood he had barely begun his incarnated purpose and was given a choice: return to his broken adult body or await another incarnation to restart. He was shown Earth's current state and what would unfold over the next fifty years. Choosing not to repeat childhood, he decided to return to his damaged body. The experience included seeing a crystal city that served as a transfer station for beings from all over Creation, with perhaps nine or twelve Great Masters of Light overseeing the life review process. He experienced vast awareness and comprehension of universal truths. He returned to his body in the hospital after a week unconscious. Opening one eye, he asked his mother if it would be okay to return and if life was worth living. She said yes, and he drifted in and out of consciousness for days. He spent a month hospitalized with massive head injury and brain damage, then six months relearning basic functions.
