Judy was brought to the ER by ambulance with life-threatening symptoms: grey skin, heart rate of 20, and blood sugar too high to read. Doctors needed to insert an IV in her neck with a temporary pacemaker or she would die. After telling them to do whatever necessary, everything became distant and voices grew far away. She then experienced not just one light, but hundreds of white lights flying from a black tunnel-shaped hole, coming at her and trying to pull her in.
The pull toward the lights was extremely strong, and she started moving toward them. When she mentally blinked to see if the lights and tunnel would disappear, they remained and the pull intensified. Terrified, she yelled "NO! I'm not ready! Go away!" The lights appeared like stars, brighter than she had ever seen, with the tunnel far in the distance pulling her toward it. She could hear medical staff voices fade to nothing during the experience. The visual phenomenon of hundreds of flying lights from the tunnel was unlike typical NDE reports. The experience felt very real and clear. She awoke on the emergency room table crying from fear, with doctors apologizing for hurting her, not understanding her tears were from fear of the lights and tunnel. She knew what the experience meant and wasn't ready for her life to end. According to doctors, she shouldn't have survived, and her rapid recovery was incredible.
