Jenny A, diagnosed with mitral valve prolapse at age 20, experienced cardiac arrest on June 13, 2010, and was clinically dead for four minutes according to doctors. After dying, she was pulled upward toward the ceiling, which transformed into a white mass that swirled into a blue tunnel. Her spirit body or soul was lifted into the light. While floating in the tunnel halfway to a bright white light at the end, she felt a higher power forcing her back and urging her to return to her body. Despite feeling upset and wanting to continue into the light because of the profound peace and calm, she was forced back by a presence that refused to let her continue. She awoke surrounded by doctors and nurses. The experience profoundly changed her life - she felt meant to do something important but also rejected by God for being sent back. Since the NDE, she developed psychic abilities including seeing and hearing spirits, feeling negative energy, seeing auras, and perceiving non-human entities. She reported seeing her translucent, glowing white soul during the experience, with arms spread out and hands visible like wearing cheesecloth. The experience included encounters with a non-human presence she believed was God or an angel who made the decision to send her back against her will.
--- Biblical Summary --- Biblical elements: The experience strongly supports consciousness surviving clinical death with documented four-minute cardiac arrest. The tunnel of light, encounter with a divine presence, and being sent back for a purpose align with biblical accounts. The overwhelming peace and love in the divine presence reflects scriptural descriptions of God's presence. Being given a purpose to fulfill on earth resonates with biblical concepts of divine calling and mission. Unbiblical elements: The development of mediumistic abilities (seeing/hearing spirits, non-human entities) contradicts biblical prohibitions against spiritism. Feeling rejected by God conflicts with biblical assurance of God's love. The emphasis on psychic phenomena rather than spiritual transformation is concerning from a biblical perspective.
