Jeff W was a passenger in a car that was hit on a Georgia freeway in September 1976. As he saw the other car's front end about two feet away, everything positive in his life flashed through his brain like a high-speed camera - a classic life review experience. Following the impact, Jeff lost consciousness and experienced a profound out-of-body experience where he became what he described as an "entity in the sky." In this state, he felt completely disconnected from his human identity, experiencing himself as powerful and somewhat all-knowing. Despite being this entity, he felt no connection between his human self and this transcendent being. When he regained consciousness, he found himself upside down on the driver's side of the car.
