In 1976, Jack drove his motorcycle off a twenty-foot cliff and was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital. During the 2 hours and 54 minutes he remained clinically dead in the hospital and morgue, Jack experienced 155 years of active life creating art and architecture in what he calls "Home World." This paradise was intimately familiar to him, as he had memories of this place from before birth and had been drawing it since age three. He immediately recognized his deceased grandmother, who had died 13 years before he was born. Jack continued creating artistic works and architectural concepts in this realm until a hospital orderly began zipping him into a body bag in the morgue's cold storage, at which point he took a renewed breath and returned to life. Since then, he continues to render artistic representations of what he experienced in Home World, bringing back two and three-dimensional representations of the places and events from his extended time in paradise.
