Gail experienced an NDE in March 2004 during a severe car accident that resulted in cranioencephalic trauma. The morning of the accident, she felt inexplicably sad, moving slower than normal and wanting to cry for no reason. While shopping with her husband, she became increasingly anxious and afraid.
