Florene experienced a profound NDE during childbirth complications in November 1967. Eight months pregnant, she suffered a prolonged contraction and was bleeding to death in the delivery room for over ten hours. Multiple bottles of coagulant were airlifted from various locations to save her life. During this crisis, she floated above her body and observed herself bleeding from every pore, with medical staff rushing around and one nurse crying. She then entered a beautiful otherworldly realm with a crystal-blue stream flowing over a cliff, producing sounds like fine crystal.
