On September 11, 2005 at 11:11 AM, Elizabeth experienced a heart attack after 24 hours of chest pressure. At the hospital, she went into cardiac arrest with "Code blue!" being called. She became aware of everything with acute hearing, smell, and vision, wondering "what's next." She heard a young doctor angrily saying to get the ambulance back as the facility lacked equipment, offering to ride with her to Lankenau.
